dvd ram to dvdr

Hi, finally fitted a drive that can read dvd ram, now the question. i am
transferring vhs to dvd ram as i have a panasonic dvd ram recorder, can
anyone tell me what i have to do to the ram footage to make it workable on a
dvd stand alone player, do i have to change the format ram to another, if so
how do i do it ? any help appreciated

dvd-r and dvd+r really work LOTS better in stand-alone players
