File Bigger then 4 GB

helle everybody,

I have downloaded a movie it packed in winrar the file is 4.6 GB but when i unpack it it says your computer cannot put files on your pc that are bigger then 4 GB does anyone knows what i can do

Yes - get DVDShrink or DVD2One - Google search will find them.

In order for DVDShrink and DVD2One to work their magic, it has to work
on a video file. That means he's got to unpack it from the RAR, which
is what he can't do, because the unpacked file is one big huge file
that's larger than 4Gigs.

I can think of a couple of ways to do it, but neither is elegant or
easy enough to be worthwhile (using WinXP or Linux, thus giving access
to a better file system).

If your running windows 9x (or ME) then you can't create files
bigger than 4GB. If you want to do that you'll have to run an NTFS (windows
NT Filing System) that is offered in Windows NT and XP
