Firmware update: After Toshiba SD-R6012-1334->x334 update: WinDVD problem

Hi!

After the flashing the SD-R6012 region free firmware version X334 (from
1334) WinDVD4.5 (platinum) asks to select the region when I want to play a
DVD (region2). It only shows as selectable region 2.
When I choose continue it asks again... and again... and again...

The drive itself works flawlessly but WinDVD.
Ripped DVDs (ripped with DVDShrink -> region free) can be played from the
harddrive.

Using Drive Region Info 2.2 tells me that the drive is region free...

Any guess what I can do?
