First DVDR
Posted by Blu on November 17th, 2003

Hi to all,
I need your advice, I would buy my first DVDR and the choice
is between Plaxtor PX-708A and Pioneer 106/A06.
Can you me an advice?
The difference of prices is 80 euros.
What is the better purchase?

Sorry for my bad english :-( , I'm Italian

Thanks
Blukey

The Plextor is faster, assuming you can obtain the relevant dvd+r media to
write at 8x.

I believe the A107 is due out next month.

Thanks to all for advice...
cut

Pio is very very good but seem the plextor is better than pion for protected
disc (data and audio)

And so I'm little confused.

I'm looking for news advice..

Thanks

I've had nothing but trouble from Plextor drives over the last few years.
Used to swear by them, but now Pioneer and LiteOn make a better drive for
half the money.
