has been back to philips and is now absolutely perfect
sale is due to the fact that i have now changed to a hard disc recorder.
plays all discs - never had a problem with any make of recordable media.
multi region via remote.
eveybody on here should be pretty familiar with this machine.

Seriously at that price you are joking aren't you, have you checked the
prices on these things recently and newer models at that, and these are new
with a full warranty, which most seem to need including you.
