Hello- I recently bought a new pc that only came with a cdrw- I added
my dvdrw and my old hard drive(it came with a new hard drive) that all
worked fine(switching old drive to slave-however when I plug the dvdrw
in the pc wont boot at all-no BIOS screen nothing.
PLease help! Thanks in advance

Did you check the master/slave configuration on each?

Is it the tiny section at the back you put the plastic part on ?

Thanks guys, I think the problem is that the DVD RW is master as well
as the CDRW- would this cause the pc to not boot at all? Also as long
as all other devices(apart from hard drive) are set to slave they
should all work fine??

On each IDE there can be one master and one slave.
