Hello,
I had a Sony mini DVD Camcorder and I shot a dozen of mini DVD-R s.
I don't have the camcorder now but I want to play all the mini DVD-Rs I
shot in my laptop regular DVD player. But it doesn't recognise the mini
DVDs. Could some one please suggest me how do I play these mini DVDs?
Do I need buy a mini DVD player to play these ones? if so what kind. My
plan is to burn these mini DVDs into the regular DVDs. I am new to this
kind of process.
Please some one could suggest me how do I do this?
Thanks

It sounds like you haven't finalized the mini-DVD. Read the
manual, it should describe the steps you need to take. Most
likely you will need to return the disks to the camcorder to
finalize them.

Ken,
I am really for not being able to reply soon to your posting. Hey
that was exactly the problem for it didn't play in the regular DVD
player. 'coz I have couple of them that got finalised play well in the
regular DVD player. But I don't have the camcorder with me right now.
Is there to finalize the rest of min DVDs so that I can play them in
the regular DVD players?
thanks

Do you have access to another computer with a DVD-RW drive? A burner with
the appropriate software should hopefully be able to recognize and
finalize the disks. I have not tried this (don't have a camcorder or mini
DVDs).
