Hi,
Some of our friends and cousins are pretty rough with our xbox discs
when they come over.
I would like to backup my xbox games and be able to play them on our
un-modded xbox and keep the original disks like new and was thinking of
buying a pioneer 106. Would this be possible on an un-modded xbox?
Could i also backup my dvd movie collection too?

On an UN-modded x-box no it isnt possible AFAIK, however with a few bits of
software the backing up of movies is easily done fully in under a hour

How can one be rough with a disc? When it's being played
it's in the console, when it's not it's in the game case.

We all know he just wants to copy games, if your gonna be sarcastic about
such things, atleast be to the point, his post was what they call 'covering
his own ass'. To answer your question about rough handling of discs,
imagine if he throws one frisbee style towards your head, what do you think
would happen???..........no on second thoughts dont answer that.

Wouldn't even attempt to since your example/question
isn't based in reality - why would someone throw a
game disc at someone?

As a kid my sibblings and I would use 78s, 33s and 45s as frisbees. Were you
never a kid?

Doesn't really matter why, does it?
The fact is that they ARE doing it, for whatever reason. Try and see past
that, OK?
