- Jerky playback of DVD-R in RealPlayer and WMP
- Posted by Christian on October 28th, 2004
Hi,
I have a strange problem when playing back DVDs I have burnt (DVD-R). The
playback is jerky in WMP and RealPlayer, but not in WinDVD and my
standalone DVD players. The sound is not jerky, only the video. Commercial
DVDs works fine in all players mentioned above. What could be the problem
WMP and RealPlayer has with my DVD-Rs be?

Who cares? Those are garbage programs anyway, with spyware in them.
Especially RealPlayer. Uninstall them immediately.
Stick with Nero, WinDVD, and Winamp Pro, along with DVDShrink and
DVD-XCopy. You'll never need anything else.

I am not using these programs, but these are educational DVDs that may be
used on machines that only has WMP and/or Realplayer installed. I can not
educate these people on what to use, so I need them to work in WMP.
