HI !!!

My DVD/CD REWRITABLE DRIVE IS LITEONIT
MODEL SOHW-812S.

My problem is that at the time that I did a firmware update
it happens a general power failure.

The next time that I tried to boot my system, the system tries
to see the device for long time, it can not see the DVD Writer
and the system holds(Can not boot).

I did some changes to positions of DVD Writer in my PC as
master, slave, cable but nothing happens.

I disconnect the drive and the system is working perfectly.
The DVD drive seems to be dead.

If somebody can help me or to give me an idea, I’ll appreciate it.
