- Multisession DVD only reads first session??
- Posted by Paul Brown on July 3rd, 2003
Is there any work around to getting a multisession DVD to show more
than the first session burned? I've used Nero to make a multisession
DVD to backup media and music files. Problem is only the first
session shows up after you add additional sessions. I'm using Win98se
and a LG GMA-4020B.
Thanks all
Paul

AFAIK the only work around would be to upgrade your OS to XP as I believe
prior versions of windows won't read multisession DVDs. Not much of a work
around really :-\

Some DVD Readers can not read multi-session DVDs. Provided yours can, you
can get a driver to read multi-session discs, try this link, it is for
Pioneer drives but should work just as well with any, note that if you have
packet-writing software install (InCD, DirectCD, InstantWrite) then these
should provide access already to multi-session discs and would need to be
uninstalled before trying the reader.

reader software, alternatively try VOB (now Pinnacle) reader software at:
