I recently purchased a refurbished Insignia IS-DVR1051 DVD recorder.
I didn't pay much for this recorder and didn't expect much in return.

It had a few problems that turned out to be plugs not inserted fully
and screws holding ground wiring that were not screwed down completely.
All components appear to be clean and in new condition.

I still have one problem that happens after making a recording.
Things are going along fine, then when I hit stop and the 'please wait,
saving data' disappears, there is a flash on the screen and the audio
and video are suddenly out of sync. Turning the unit off, then on again
is the only way to get things lined up again that I have found.

I can't seem to find any info for this machine anywhere.

Anyone have any info on this unit?
Are there any updates that I can make?
