Any ideas why Nero InfoTool would crash on my PC?

Works fine on laptop but not on PC. Tried uninstall/reinstall including
registry clean.

Seems to fall over at the last step - the reading driver step.

of Nero info. I wrote them it would hang and could not do that and
asked what I should do next.

I never heard back - but a few weeks later I put in the upgrade and
it fixed things.

160GB drive on primary 3 - the addin IDE/SATA controller that came
with the 160GB drive.

Since it was non-standard I think that caused the hang during
Nero Info at the drive.
