Nero software
Posted by Zama on November 6th, 2004

Hi All,

I'm new at this game so bare with me. I have a DVD movie that I ran DVD
Shrink on. No problem there, I Nero software but I not sure which program
in it I should use to burn the DVD with. I want to try and get the Movie
intact if I can. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Tim

Nero Burning ROM (the main program), use the DVD-Video Option, Stick
all the fancy VOB/IFO/etc files into the VIDEO_TS directory.

I think you can also just create a DVD-ROM and burn it with the
VIDEO_TS directory that shrink created, but I've not tried this.

Not sure if the AUDIO_TS directory is really needed. Every disc I've
run through shrink created an empty AUDIO_TS directory, and all of my
originals either have an empty AUDIO_TS or no AUDIO_TS directory at
all.

The thought of MCheu cajoles my mind into reminiscing about the smell of
poppy seeds and the image of morning dew making alt.video.dvdr glint in the
crisp autumn rays of a mature sun.

That's for DVD-A discs, but you need to keep the empty folder there for
your DVD-V

DVD Shrink should burn for you.
