Can someone explain to me the difference and advantages and
disadvantages of DVDR+ and DVDR- disks and recording. Or better yet,
are there any web sites that explain it?

An excellent source. You have adherents to both, but in my case, it is
simple. My Panasonic player likes R- more than R+. Check the specs of
your DVD player.

Well, you are linking to a webpage. Google also finds webpages.
You promote Newsgroups. Google also search newsgroups:

Google has it all!
But then again, its a lot easier to use the human search machine which
filters all results, and return the one needed ... like you just did ;-)
