Panasonic DMR-ES10 audio question
Posted by Brian Wescombe on January 22nd, 2006

I've just bought a Panasonic DMR-ES10 DVD recorder which I've connected to a
Sky box via the RGB Scart input. The recordings are fine (I used VR mode on
DVD-RAM disc in LP/2hr format), but when I use VideoRedo to edit the MPEG
file, I get a message that there were Audio resync frames removed, audio
input errors and Input sequence errors. Is this normal behaviour? The sound
seems to be fine and in sync on the output files. I could understand getting
these errors on recordings from a Freeview TV card as the signal isn't
perfect, but from a DVD recording?? Is the recorder dropping frames?

I have the latest version, but I emailed them earlier and they said that
they are aware of the problem and a new beta (build 446) is due tomorrow.
