Recorder Glitch
Posted by Andre Marek on October 14th, 2007

Had my first glitch with my Panasonic ES10. While editing the title of a
show I had just burned it suddenly shut down and did a self scan. When
it was done the recording was gone. Fortunately I hadn't deleted it from
my box so I could record again.
I've had the recorder for over a year and this is the first problem I've
had. Is this the forwarning of something worse or just an average glitch?

Sandy, the ES10 is a stand alone dvd recorder :O)

To Andre, it is possible to get occasional glitches and hopefully
that's all yours is. As it stands your machine has been surpassed by
the newer models, which can record to all formats and are probably
cheaper too, well worth a look if you're considering replacing it.

Thanks everyone, you've set my mind at ease, but I will price the newer
