- "Recording for Dummies"?
- Posted by Bruce on July 8th, 2004
Hi,
My daughter got a Dell Inspiron 8600 Centrino laptop for college. It
came with a DVD+RW, and she's got lots of questions about
recording/ripping/converting, etc, and media types. I'm not familiar
with this stuff.
We've looked at all the popular FAQs and help sites, but we'd like to
find a manual or book that we can carry around, and that explains all of
this on a basic level. It would be nice if it also explained the basics
of popular software that's used for this media.
Is there something like "CD-R and DVD Basics for Dummies"?
Next I'm going to teach her how to use the newsgroups.
Thanks,
Bruce
