Has anyone ever used an S-Video splitter? If so what was the results?
Do splitters provide enough gain to drive two inputs?

splitters have a loss not a gain
never seen a s video one

What you need is a DA (distribution amplifier). Extron makes one that
appears to retail for around $200 US new. Check out ebay, you'll find
them on there from time to time for a lot less.
