- Toshiba SD-R6472 not recognized by Windows XP
- Posted by Fred on February 27th, 2005
I bought one of these for my Toshiba Tecra M2. I plugged it in, but Windows
XP Professional doesn't seem to recognize it. The drive will open and
close, but it doesn't show up on the Device Manager or the Windows File
Explorer. Usually Windows recognizes new hardware and starts an automatic
install - not with this drive. Any suggestions are appreciated.
