What is best inkjet printable DVD-R?
Posted by Randall P McMurphy on January 5th, 2005

This is a generic question, because I wanted to test my posting ability, but I
didn't want a plain "test" post. And I am actually in need of inkjet printable
DVD-R disks (or +R).

Tried most of the bargain DVD-R inkjet printables - very few record well,
many are crap which I have had to return due to verify errors. Some have a
smooth white surface (better), some a rougher-feeling surface (worse). My
current favorite is the Ritek 8x G05 with no stacking ring. It has the best
of both worlds - smooth white surface all the way to the hub, and more
importantly an excellent blank media.

Just ordered 100 of 'em for $47 (incl. shipping) from:

http://www.supermediastore.com/ritek...table-100.html

Believe me, these are winners. I don't believe Shop4Tech.com carrys them.

In otherwords "no" if you have suitable command of the English language and
refrain from irrelevancy.

"So you can just drive at over 155mph in any car?"

"if your car is very fast and can go at over 155mph then yes"

In otherwords "no".

I suspose you know what "any" means in this context? Otherwise you have
serious comprehension issues.

Google:define any
[Snip other definitions]
any: any(a): one or some or every or all **without specification**
ad. one or more of **no special kind**

Can any inkjet printer print on DVDs? yes or no?

Don't recommend EVER to stick labels on DVD's. Someone did that for some
DVD's I bought, amateur recording made in theory to look better by sticking
a printed label on. The wobble caused by this (perhaps because it's not
100% flat, or extra weight?) made the discs skip frequently, and to be safe
I used a cheapo player and dubbed the thing onto a new and unlabelled disc.
CD's are another matter.

Geoff.
