- ATI Radeon, what motherboard?
- Posted by SwedishElk on July 2nd, 2003
Greets.
Having problems with my ATI Radeon card. Right now running on a ASUS P4S8X.
Getting frequent hardlocks so I was told that it is the motherboard fault.
So now I wonder what motherboard brand would be safe for a ATI Radeon 9500
Pro card? Or might it even be something else that is the problem?
The rest of the relevant hardware is:
Intel P4 2.66 (Boxed)
2 x 512 MB Original DDR RAM 3200
SB Live! Platinum.
Thanks on forehand

Considering you are using a P4 and 3200 DDR RAM, the Intel 875PBZ works just
fine with that card. Intel boards are generally very good quality and are
rock solid stable, which is all I care about. If you overclock, which I
don't, then the Intel board may not be good for you.
