- Differences A7V8X-X en A7V8X-MX ?
- Posted by Mike on May 13th, 2004
Hi,
I just boiught the A7V8X-MX because the A7V8X-X was out of stock. Can anyone
tell me the difference in performance and usability between these two? I know
the MX is the mini-ATX version.
I know the MX has video onboard (not needed), 3 instead of 6x PCI (no problem),
and the chipset KM400 instead of KT400. Are there any more differences I should
know about? Especcially before buying...
Thanks in advace!

Go there and read about it. Seems the X
supports
DDR400 memory, but not the MX. Also has
options for
SATA and Gigabit LAN.

Thanks. I did read it but I also did overlook the differences in memory. But in
my case (with 2x 512MB DDR333 in hand) I do not need DDR400 soon...
But what do these "options" mean?

SATA is serial ATA drive support. The future.
Gigabit LAN is just that 1,000 Mb Network support.
One's a full size board, the other a micro ATX.
They're really apples and oranges.
