Help about Dual Channel!

Please someone tell me how to know that if I was runing dual channel ?? can
I know that from Windows?
I am using Gigabyte GA7N400 Pro, with Samsung DDR400 256MB Ram., AMD Athlon
XP 2500+..

first if all: you have 256M ram? to have dual channel with this amount,
you'd need to have _two_ 128M sticks -> is it so? dual channel requires for
the memory to be installed in pairs..

you can tell if you're running in dc by, for example, using SiSoft Sandra
benchmarking program -> run the memory bandwidth test and check the part
where it says 'channels: x' if you're in dc mode, the number will be 2

also: most likely your BIOS will have this information; there should be an
item like 'dual channel mode enabled/disabled' or something like it..

Thx for your suggestion... I would try to use the Sisoft....
There was no clues in BIOS about the status of DC...... (I had called the
technician at Gigabyte, he said it was nForce2's problem, so they cannot
show the such info in BIOS)
