Help needed!
I have just acquired an old Tosh laptop from a dearly departed relative and
I can't get it pass a bios password on start-up.
Obviously I can't ask him for the password and need some help in finding a
solution to get around this problem.
From what I understand its an old Tosh unit with windows 98 on it.
Thank you for you help in this matter.
Humpty.

Well my idea of a saonce was taken.. so second resort.. post the exact model and
someone may be able to tell you how to get at the cmos battery/clear cmos
jumper.. I'm not too fammilar with laptops so I don't know if the cmos battery
is in the middle of the mainboard somewhere, or just under a screw panel..
Regards,
Chris

Don't know if this will help, but you may need to remove batteries, or reset
jumper leads.
Look on Google for help:
