- MSI K7T + XP 1800+

I have a MSI K7T Turbo, revision 3.0, mobo and an Athlon
1800+ CPU and I cannot get the thing to post. I have
updated the BIOS to version 3.6 and it will not work. I
have also tried a 1700+ as well but still no joy. Is
there a BIOS setting that I need to set or a jumper on
the mobo?
Thanks,
fyb

There was a design problem on those boards, through the K7T
Turbo2, which caused problems using anything newer than a
Palomino core Athlon. I presume you're trying to use the
newer T'Bred core. You might try a bios update, but it
still may not help.

I got it to beep once. I didn't do anything different, I
just reseated the cpu. I don't remember the beep pattern
though.

Try to reset the BIOS by remove the battery OR reset jumper.
