Put an NEC 2500A that I pulled from my system (worked fine there, just
upgraded and thought I'd pass it along to a friend) and put it in an
external enclosure. Enclosure has its own power supply, USB 2.0, all
that.

Anyway, when I'm attempting to burn, it just flat out stops. Ten
attempts at progressively slower speeds, ten failures. It will act as
if the device isn't getting power (but it is, fan spins). Eject button
will not eject, Nero fails to respond. Tried on three different
systems, all the same results.
