Prog or usegroup?
Posted by Chris Stolworthy on September 8th, 2003

I was wondering something, I have some audio links that I want to save to my
HDD. However when I save these files (usually .asx format) they only link
to online content, thus I have to be online to access them. I was wondering
what if anything I can use to save these to my hdd?

TIA

asx file contains the URL. Media player doesn't store it on HDD. IF
the security features of the format aren't exploited, a "recorder"
type program can gab it.
