For some reason I can't seem to see replies that I post, so I'm having to
start a new thread...

================================================== =============
Hi Guys

I tried it without DATA connected, and got the same result, I'll try it
without power now...

I also already did the memory check thing, I got 2 x 256MB sticks, I tried
it with each and still nothing. Oddly, I did get bootup ONCE after this all
happened and I had powered down for about an hour, I quickly turned off and
reconnected my K/B, but that was it..it didn't come back :-(

When it was all fine, if I hit the front power button during the first few
seconds of bootup, it would power down harmlessly: Now, the hard drive light
stays on, the power remains and I obviously get blank everything - If this
was the Graphics card it wouldn't affect the bootup like this would it?

Thanks so far!.....

....Okay, did the disconnect H/D totally "bit" and same results. No bootup
screen. When I hit "reset" it does seem to do something, it flickers the
lights on both CD & DVD drives as though it's restarted. Any more ideas?

Thanx again

Nik

Disconnect the hard drive - both power and data cables,
and see if you get a POST screen.
