Router with USB Printer Sharing - an it be used for ??

Could a router with a usb print server be used for other usb functions
?
On some routers such as the SMC Barricade BR14U Router there is a
built in USB print server.
Since this is a standard USB port is there any way this USB connection
could be put to other uses - such as sharing files off a USB flash
drive or USB external hard drive ?

I think all that port does is receive RAW data and pipe it down the USB
cable. But I am by no means certain.

I'd be very suprised if that worked. :-)

Maybe, if the core chip in it supports it and you rewrite
the firmware. In other words, generally no, it won't work
by just changing some settings or anything easy or
