- SATA IOPort addresses
- Posted by amir.companieh@gmail.com on June 30th, 2008
Hello
I have a Jetway I31GM3 motherboard with a SATA boot drive and I need
to attach another SATA drive (motherboard has 4 slots) and find the
IOPort address (to have the ability do write directly to the ports).
After I attach the second SATA drive and look in device manager and
look at the 'resources' for the SATA controller, all I see under I/O
range is 0xFA00 - 0xFA0F, same as what I see when I don't have a
second drive connected...dont know if that parts normal or not, but
either way, I need to have the ability to write to the second SATA
drive directly (using allowio tool to bypass windows)...any help would
be appreciated.
Thanks
AC
