Hi

My daughter has a project to set up a (scenario) LAN for a school with 25
pc's with a server. Does anyone know of a source of the basics, we need
some prices too.

You might consider Win2K instead of XP because it is cheaper and it
has been around a lot longer. There are some very good books on Win2K.

Call Microsoft and ask them to donate the software to the school.

Adults can't install a Linux network. The guys who wrote the program
can't install a Linux network.

I have known several developers who tried to install Linux and were
unable to get it to work properly.
