reference designs and can use the standard driver from the
respective chipset (on the card) manufacturer, which is
likely to be updated more often than what DLink offers on

Somewhere on teh intarweb "kony" typed:
The problem with DLink and XP SP3 is something to do with SP3 changing a
..dll that is needed for the DLink driver. I saw this discussed in another
group but didn't take much notice, not having any DLink gear.
