Hi,

My systemax laptop when switched on just displays a blank screen. The
caps lock, scoll lock and num lock lights come on and the cd and
hardisk lights flsh on and off then nothing and the fan stops spinning
as well.

I've tried using an external moniter, tried booting without harddisk/
cd drive, Tried with different memory but still nothing.

If I take the battery out for ten minutes or so and put it back in the
computer makes one long constant tone that won't disapper until the
battery is took out.

Laptop is out of warranty by two months.

Any Ideas?
