I have a Maxtor USB2 200gig ext HD which works fine with the USB 2
connection on one of my PCs but not on my other PC, where I get a "not
recognised" msg. It works on this PC's 1.1 port, but not on the USB2 ports
(which are on a pci card). The USB2 card ports work fine on my flashdrive
and iPod.

In summary I have a working ext HD, a working USB2 card but an inability to
get them working together. Has anyone got any ideas why this weird situation
could be fixed? (I think it is odd, because the HD works on that PC's 1.1
port).
