Usb2 Pci card
Posted by Wainscotting on December 12th, 2004

Just bought one of these (VIA PCI to USB 2.0 host controller card) and XP
Pro can't install it as a USB2 device. The
found new hardware manager pops up and says it's found a PCI device and
needs to install a driver but can't find one. The literature with the card
states that as long as SP1 is installed it should be recognised - SP1 was
installed and I have now installed SP2 to no avail. The driver disk is only
for 98SE/98/2000/ME. Anyone help?

recognised as USB2. XP couldn't load the drivers but I found some on the net
that worked a treat. Thanks
