- Possible Hack?

I can see a folder on my laptop called "Test" that I can only see
through the network. I don't see it directly on my laptop hard drive.
I have a desktop running Windows XP and the laptop runs Windows 2000.
I was sycronizing the two computers when I saw from my desktop a
folder on my laptop called "Test". On the laptop, I have the
properties set to show all hidden files and folders. Would appreciate
any insight.

I am running my XP in German Language, therefore i am not sure if I will
translate the items correctly, but I try.
Go to your System Control Panel and try to find an item called
"Administration" (Verwaltung in German)
Open it and go to Computeradministration
There you can choose "Shared Folders" on the left side and then "Shares".
There you will see all shares currently activated and the local path
belonging to them. Your folder "test" should appear and you can easily find
the folder on your harddrive and turn of the sharing.

Yes I found it, thank you. I don't know how it got there but it's
gone now.
