- Proxy Server?
- Posted by H on October 6th, 2003
We're looking for a software based solution to log and control internet
access at work.
We already have a firewall, but we would like to be able to see pages
accessed against login name, and be able to prevent the download of
zip/exe/asm files etc. etc.
Any recommendations?
Any help appreciated.
H.

You didn't say what OS, but Squid would be the best for this.

allo mate,
Browse Control is a great tool for this too:
http://www.browsecontrol.com
i found it to be really easy to use and much cheaper then surf
control.
we just bought it for our company from Codework who is the developer
for the software.
cheers
