- setting up an own certificate authority
- Posted by Pamela on September 2nd, 2004
Hi,
i'm convinced that working with a third party for setting up a certificate
for SSL is the best way to work.
Although I would like to learn to make my own certificate authority for
educational reasons.
I find somethings on the web like http://slwww.epfl.ch/SIC/SL/CA/
but there are refering to some software of which I don't know if I can trust
this.
Can anyone say me, which software (if needed) I'd better install.
Greetings and thanks
Pamela

Go to www.openssl.org and download openssl. If you are using windows
then you can download a windows binary of openssl.
