- Accidentaly opened I-Bagle - and then opened virus vault ??
- Posted by Morph on January 31st, 2005
AVG detected the Bagle , in an attachment from an email, i rather stupidly
clicked open..Anyway, it stopped it and sent it to the AVG-Virus-Vault.
I deleted this from the VAULT. Was this a wise thing to do, or am i meant to
leave infectons there ??
I have since, run scans, and nottin' has turned up, so maybe i got away with
this 1.. but for future ref.'s ... what do i do with infected files that go
to the Vault ??
Thanks - All the Best - Morph

Of course you can delete it. The whole object of AV is too get rid of
stuff.Delete anything in there or keep them if you like - it DOESNT matter.

I'd just delete the virus when found rather then take the chance of
sending anywhere but to hell.
