atomic science

I get it. But newbies have to post questions. I'm aloud to show up at
the atomic scientists convention and not know anything. It is what I
do from that point on that could get me in trouble. Let's say I was
just interested in the convention and during a break asked one of the
members to explain what a certain thing meant? He/she might have
patience and actually give me a clue to my question. I would leave
there a bit smarter than when I went in but would not have disturbed the
flow of their convention plus I might have got some decent food at the
buffet.
Thank you elaich

Dear Sir,
Having read your recent posts, and did not realise you are a "atomic"
scientist,please answer me this question.
What the hell is this place going to be used for?
http://www.diamond.ac.uk/default.htm
Been building it for over a year now,we were told it was a new theme
park ride, sort of a fast roundabout.
I object to most peoples belief and understanding of reality, therefore i
substitute my own when needs arise .
Are we all just going to dissapear up some black hole?,or is that the
welsh in me?

massive electro-magnetic fields in order to crash together, producing
strange shortlived particles that need a new branch of science to be created
in order to explain them.
I cant see being Welsh as a hindrance, at least in this regard.
HTH.

No, 'neville'. In Usenet, a 'lurker' is someone that reads, but does
not post.

You'd know this, if you did some reading between trolls.

It will be used to justify tossing a load of scientists from Daresbury onto
the dole.

substitute my own.
It is a merry-go-round for the things we can not see "faryies?" or it is
a giant popcorn cooker that was not ready for the millenium celebrations
and the lottery grants in the uk have renamed it.There again it could
actually be the lottery machine,or E.R.N.I.E. Or do you put our
illegals in it ,the ones that stay in the slots stay? Or is it the
generator of "spin" that us brits are fed.
Damn i hate reality, but somehow have never had the urge or belief that i
could fly from a multi storey carpark---best i see the doc and up my
prescription.

Hmm,avoid reality,now there is a question.
What ever your belief or state of mind/perception(substitute "belief" if
you wish),you have your own concept of reality. It may be fundamentaly
flawed, but it remains ,atleast in the persons mindset, the truth and
awarness according to them aka reality.Probably not yours but certainly
theirs---Damn i married a Canadian for god sake,true i am still unsure
why,but the party was a hell of a bash.
You could be right that reality is a bitch, she does complain alot, and i
do try to avoid it.

A question for you to ponder on,
Bottled water, you know the stuff, volvic and all its bretheren of mineral
waters.
It has been supposedly filtering through this rock and that for
thousands of years, why the hell does it have a sell by date on the
bottle?

What makes you think it was bacteria free when bottled? So they
determined when it was not longer potable and labeled it as such. Either
that or the local pols have insisted that anything that is meant for

I hazzard a guess that sureal thought or alternate reality avoids you

Learn to relax, avoid technology---its all going to run out of
electricity anyway. We have just shut down our breeding farms for
rodents---when they get old who is going to turn the wheels to create
power?
