Audio software recommendation?
Posted by A. J. Moss on August 25th, 2003

I need someone to recommend some free, spyware-free software to do the
following:

1. Compress and decompress mp3 files e.g. a simple front-end for Lame.

2. Record an internet radio station as it streams into my computer.

To answer your first need, I use RazorLame http://www.dors.de/razorlame
It's very simple, easy to use, and free, leaving more funds to purchase
BEER!!11!! (or the libation of your choice). :-)

As to your second requirement, I don't know, since I don't have a need for
such an item, but I daresay you'll get some very good suggestions shortly.
