Someone asked sometime ago, on whats working for Avanade like, or
compare Avanade to other companies. I remember I myself looking at the
web before joining, I wanted to make sure some opinions got out there.

Its cool with tech stuff. But Avande works you to death. Its worse than
most jobs, because they over sell you to the client and then the
pressure is tremendous on the employees/consultant to perform.

Work at Avanade is probably like aging twice as fast.

Just be prepared and make sure you compare other companies, what you
see on paper or on the outside is not what it is.

They dont even have a regular company office in most of their
locations. Its hard for communication or even getting your feel on the
ground, since you have to work out of the clients office most of the
time.

That's nonsense. I worked for them for five years.

My boss was great, I got a nice raise plus a big Christmas bonus every year
and I received two substantial promotions-- leaving as an assistant vice
president.
