AVG Free
Posted by GeofW on November 21st, 2006

Hi
I see AVG ain't gonna be free no more (from mid-January).
As I am thinking of replacing my comp middle of next year, I don't want to
pay a year's subscription for what may be only a few months usage.
Are there any antivirus programs still free that are recommended?
TIA

Yes, it is. You will simply need to upgrade to the new version.

You don't see very well.

Try reading the COMPLETE splash screen, including the little stuff
at the bottom.

Oh, and reflect on the notion that "AVG Free 7.1 Version won't be
supported" has a different meaning that "AVG Free won't be supported" ...
Do consider the difference between the two.
