Burning with Nero
Posted by Rodney Kelp on February 18th, 2004

I'm trying to burn someold mp3's to a 4.7meg DVD. All of a sudden I have a
new problem. I get this error:

Joliet names of these files (listed here in ISO-L3) are the same.
VAN_OR11.mp3 VAN_OR12.pm3
Preparation of ISO9660 failed.

I sure can't find those file names anywhere and I don't know where ISO-L3
is. Can someone tell me what the heck is going on?
I'm using Nero Express OEM version 5.5.10.3
Frankly I don't give a shit if I have duplicate file names I just want the
damn directories burned as I select them.

Well Thank you. I had that suspicion but wasn't sure.
I thought everyone used long file names now.

They do - but ISO compatible CDs have to have an ISO compatible
short name.
