How do you change the default file type in which MS Works Word Processor,
Version 7, opens. The program is set to open in file type ".wps" and I
would like to change to ".doc" or "All Files". The operating system is
Windows XP Home Edition., Version 5.1

MS Works is an application and opens as itself. You can no more change
this than you could, say, open Mozilla as Internet Explorer or Media
Player. The output of Works, *.wps may be viewed in certain other word
processors by using the "open with" command.
