Compaq Ipaq installation
Posted by Johnny on December 17th, 2006

Hello,

I have a Compaq Ipaq as you can see at the following link.

http://glen.utdallas.edu/Glen/Home/n...paq%20ipaq.jpg

It is broken and I want to reinstall win XP Pro from scratch.

The problems are: This pc has no cd-rom and no floppy and don't boot via USB
stick

How to proceed? Any advice is welcome.

I thought to copy i386 on the disk using another pc. But how to boot the
hard disk without a operation system?

Please help.

Thanks

Johnny cried out

there should be a bios option to boot from usb, ive never seen a
"terminal" pc without the ability to boot from usb. other than that,
all of the MaxTerm's that i have worked with have interchangable cf
cards.
