- Computer hangs when clearing temp internet files

I have IE6 and when I go into options and clear my temp internet files, the
browser times out - the egg timer just stays on indefinitely. When I close
down the options window, I'm prompted to send an error report on my browser.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks.

Close the browser when clearing the TMP files. You are probably clearing one
that it is using while working. It will wait to access it, and if not, it
will keep waiting.
