- Computer keeps running
- Posted by Dog on November 24th, 2004
When I turn on my computer the red light keeps on running as if something in
the background is trying to do something. How can I find out what is running
in the background. It also tries to access the IE explorer seven times and I
have to X out of these before using.

sounds like spyware. Get some spyware removal tools like Adaware, and Spybot
Search and Destroy.
