(Sorry couldn't post this in the original thread!)

Smoker: I had searched "file" types but couldn't locate "explore". Then
looked in the "folder" file and found the "explore" to make it the default.
Problem solved!

Mike: Your suggestion was right on. Placing a floppy disk in the drive
stops explorer trying to access it.
